Jim Hight
Jim Hight brings a long career of experience writing in newspapers, magazines, and journals in Boston, Los Angeles and Humboldt County, California. His book, Moon Over Humboldt, tells the story of an unlikely pairing of two men who could rebuild their lives filled with addiction and loss, if they can overcome their differences. Come pick up a copy in our store and learn more about Jim here, and his work to help people navigate disagreement in politics and morality while building respect and trust.
April Graves
April is an author and illustrator who splits her time between Chaffee County and Northern Illinois, where she is also an art teacher. Her colorful and fun children’s picture book, Meet the Hotdogs, presents the brave adventures of Pip Hotdog as she learns to ski with her family. This is a wonderful adventure book for children of Colorado and any family who loves to ski! Come by the store and pick up your copy of Meet the Hotdogs, personally signed by April and Pip!
